'Moet' freshly painted in Napier, New Zealand

'Moet' is a Hartley RORC 39 design. She is 39ft in length, 13ft beam and has 6ft draft. She weighs 11 tons.

Hartley is a New Zealand designer and builder and is well known in this part of the world. He has designed numerous sailboats, motorsailers, dinghy's, small motorboats, and even canoes and surfboards.

'Moet' is constructed from ferro-cement and was professionally built in 1976 at Robb's boatyard in Lyttleton, New Zealand. Ferro-cement boats are strong and seaworthy and very steady in heavy seas.
